Permanent trade winds, Atlantic coast, average speed between 20 and 40 km/h depending on the season, peaks of 60-70 km/h in summer. This constant wind is not an asset that has been tapped — it is the core working principle of SAWIRA.

The design decision is simple but consequential: instead of fighting the wind or ignoring it, SAWIRA integrates it as its primary energy source. A vertical silent wind turbine captures kinetic energy. This energy powers LED lighting, USB charging ports, and 220V outlets directly accessible from the bench.
